I decided to start this rant space to better organize and express my “radical” ideas about feminism.

It all started with an editortial in our newspaper. It was some complete bs about how Clarke County Schools should not have decided to go over to the dark side of comprehensive sex eduaction, leaving behind the antiquainted abstinence-only “education” programs and along with it, family values, morals, so on and so forth. Also, he went on to throw in there that abortion was a morally reprehensible action.

I, the fool I am, felt it neccessary to wander onto their website and comment on this trash. I was already riled up from the previous evening’s events, where I watched the film Speak Out: I Had an Abortion and engaged in some heated debate with a number of hard-headed fools. That said, maddness ensued on the red and black forums.

Long story short, some jackass called tried to tear apart my argument (women make bad choices…blah blah blah…it’s their own fault…) and ended up calling me a dirty rotten feminist.

Well I decided on letting it get me down, I would instead let it empower me by calling my new blog by the name.

I know that I am angry about a lot of women’s issues. But I think we should be angry. I encourage anger. By buying into “composure” and “nice” and “well-worded” we are just giving our enemies what they want. Those are all just words for “passive.” And saddly, lots of women with feministic ideas have been subdued with such words, and have let themselves be oppressed.

I am a WHOLE PERSON. I am entitled to the right to do whatever I want with my body, including aborted an unwanted fetus and end an unwanted pregnancy.

And that’s the end (its not…) of that.
